My name is Tahlia Fischer. I am a rhetorician by training and hold a Ph.D. in communication and rhetorical studies from the University of Iowa. I specialize in editing nonfiction work in the humanities, arts, business, and social sciences. I have been editing and writing (as well as teaching college writing) for 20 years in both the academy and beyond. I work with academics and non-academics on projects such as dissertations, articles, essays, theses, memoir, nonfiction books, and blogs. Additionally, I have ghost written and edited material for large nonprofits and small businesses.
